Course Information: 11th Grade

HIGH SCHOOL COURSE LEVELS

Some courses are available at the Honors, AP and/or Dual Credit level

  • Comprehensive = “regular” level of the course, most often taken by students
  • Honors = “same requirements as Comprehensive but requires completion of honors project (available for 9th-12th grade)
  • Advanced Placement (AP) = college level course; college credit can be earned via AP test (most courses only available for 11th – 12th grade)
  • Dual Credit = college level course; students must meet enrollment requirements; college credit is earned; college transcript begins (most courses only available for 11th – 12th grade)

**To take courses at the Honors or AP level, students must have earned an 80 or above in that subject during the previous school year

**Keep in mind that not all levels are available for each course. See the course catalog for levels available per course.

11TH GRADE SCHEDULING

While high school schedules are tailored to the individual needs of each student, a typical 11th grade schedule includes:

English, Math, Science, Social Studies, Endorsement Elective & 2 Additional Electives

  • Endorsement elective choice will depend upon which endorsement (graduation plan) a student selects
