Graduation

In-Person Ceremony Date: June 7, 2026 | Virtual Ceremony Date: June 5, 2026

In-Person Location: Comerica Center | Virtual Ceremony Location: Link Will Be Sent

In-Person Ceremony Times: 9 AM, 12:30 PM & 4 PM | Virtual Ceremony Time: 7:00 PM

Due to the large size of our graduating class, we will be holding multiple in-person graduation ceremonies. Each ceremony will be assigned to an alpha split of our graduates and remain approximately 1 hour in length. Ceremony time will be assigned in the spring once we know how many and which students plan on attending. Students will receive communication via email regarding their specified time.

***Students will be required to arrive 1 hour prior to their in-person ceremony time.***

Please note that attendance at TVAH’s graduation ceremony is not required in order to receive your diploma. Diploma covers will be handed out on stage at our in-person ceremony, and students will pick up their actual diploma from the registration table after the ceremony is over. If a student does not attend the in-person ceremony, they will have their diploma mailed to them.

Parents and family members will be allowed in the auditorium no earlier than 30 minutes prior to the ceremony (tickets currently not required for guests this year but if that changes we will let you know). Seating at the ceremony is first come, first serve – there are no pre-seating assignments or reservations. Students will currently be allowed 7 guests to attend.

We hope you will attend, as we would love to celebrate your accomplishments, but for those unable to travel to the in person ceremony, we will also be offering an online graduation ceremony. Details on date, time, and access will be forthcoming as the date for graduation approaches.

Dress Code for in-person ceremony:

Men – Nice slacks and a collared shirt with a tie
(short sleeves are ok)

Ladies – dresses or dress slacks (we encourage you to wear low heeled or flat shoes to avoid falls on the stage); remember to bring bobby pins for your caps; leave purses with family members

If a graduating student requires special assistance at the ceremony, please email your counselor to let them know. If a guest requires additional assistance and/or handicap seating at the ceremony, we will be able to accommodate those needs upon their arrival. Handicap seating is limited, however.
