**Credit from a provider outside TVAH is not guaranteed if the student does not have documentation of having talked to their counselor.
Texas Virtual Academy at Hallsville recommends that students who are behind or have failed a course consider summer credit options to get back on track. TVAH suggests that students use the coursework provided through the vendors on this page.
Taking summer courses outside of TVAH requirements:
Before enrolling in classes outside of TVAH, a student needs to talk to their counselor to ensure:
- they sign up for the correct course
AND - that TVAH can accept the credit from the provider
(Note: Keystone Credit Recovery courses can NOT be accepted by TVAH – students must take a full course to get credit.)
